Hermes launched Terre d′Hermes in 2006 as a woody spicy fragrance for men. The fragrance speaks of territory as well a matter, earth and root. Terre d′Hermes open up with bitter orange and grapefruit then moves onto a blend of pepper and pelargonium then finishes the scent with deep and sweet notes of benzoin, vetiver, cedar and patchouli. The notes behind the fragrance was created by Jean-Claude Ellena.
