Nurofen Rapid Relief Maximum Strength 400mg Liquid Capsules are quickly absorbed to provide relief from pain, reduce inflammation and lower temperature.

Suitable for: 

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years.

Age restriction:

Not suitable for those under 12 years of age

Warnings:

Contains sorbitol and E124 (Ponceau 4R). Ensure you read the patient information leaflet for further information. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or if new symptoms occur, stop treatment at once and consult your doctor. Do not take more than 3 capsules (1200mg) in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose. ONLY ONE CAPSULE PER DOSE KEEP OUT OF SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN DO NOT TAKE IF: -You have or have ever had a stomach ulcer or other digestive system disorder. -If you are allergic to any of the ingredients or to aspirin or to any other nonsteroidal-anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Ingredients:

Active ingredients & Strength: 400mg ibuprofen. Also Contains: Capsule contents: Macrogol 600 Potassium hydroxide (for pH adjustment) Capsule shell: Gelatin Sorbitol liquid, partially dehydrated Purified water Ponceau 4R (E124) Lecithin, isopropyl alcohol, nitrogen and medium chain triglycerides. Printing ink: Opacode WB white NS-78-18011 (contains the following materials titanium dioxide propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol and HPMC 2910/Hypromellose 3cP.

Pregnancy

Do not take if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy, You should not take during the first 6 months of pregnancy unless absolutely necessary and advised by your
doctor.

Breast Feeding:

Ibuprofen can pass in very small concentration into breast milk with no harmful effects to the infant. It is not necessary to interrupt breast feeding for short term treatment at the recommended dose.Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are breast-feeding.

Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity to the active substance, ibuprofen, or to any of the constituents, acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin), or other
NSAIDs. History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAIDs therapy. Active, or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage (two or more distinct episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding or other gastrointestinal disorders). Patients who have previously shown hypersensitivity (e.g. bronchospasm, asthma, rhinitis, angioedema or urticaria) in response to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Use in children under 12 years of age. Patients with severe hepatic failure or severe renal failure severe heart failure (NYHA Class IV). During the third trimester of pregnancy
