Product Description

-Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs).

-These medicines work by changing how the body responds to pain, swelling and high temperature.

-This medicinal product is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothache, muscular pain, period pain and/ or fever of duration up to 3 days.

-Mybufen is indicated in adults and adolescents from 40 kg body weight (12 years of age and above).

• Warning & Precautions

-Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Mybufen if you have:

→Gastrointestinal disorders →Impaired kidney or liver function →High blood pressure# →Heart failure →Have recently undergone major surgery →Suffering from dehydration. 

-Stop using Mybufen and seek medical attention immediately if you notice any of the symptoms related to the serious skin reactions described in the contained leaflet -Do not exceed the stated dose. 

-Please consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, elderly, asthmatic, taking any other medicines or receiving regular treatment.

-Keep out of reach of children and do not store above 25 degrees Celsius.

-Always check with your pharmacist or doctor before taking combinations of medications.

-Take Ibuprofen after food to help protect your stomach.

• Contraindications

-Do not take Mybufen if you:

→Are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine →Have previously reacted with bronchospasm, asthma attacks, swelling of the nasal mucosa, angioedema or skin reactions following previous intake of aspirin or other non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs →Suffer from blood-disturbances, liver impairment, kidney impairment or severe heart failure →Have an active or history of recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers or bleeding

• Pregnancy

This product is not suitable for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.

• Directions for Use 

-Adults, the Elderly and children over 12 years old (over 40kg)

-Take 1 capsule with a glass of water up to 3 times a day if required.

-Do not exceed the stated dose. Take the capsules by mouth only with a glass of water.

-Leave at least 4 hours between doses and do not take more than 3 capsules in 24 hours.

-Do not give these capsules to children under 12 years.

-This product is for short term use only.

-The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.

• If you have an infection, consult a doctor without delay if symptoms (such as fever and chest pain or shortness of breath) persist or worsen.
• If your symptoms do not improve within 3 days consult your doctor Always read the packaging and enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
