What is of Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Hot Lemon 1000mg and what is it used for? -Each sachet of Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Hot Lemon 1000mg Powder for Oral Solution contains 1000mg paracetamol. Paracetamol has pain killing (analgesic) and fever reduction (antipyretic) properties.
-Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Hot Lemon can be used to relieve the symptoms of common cold or influenza such as headache, sore throat, fever, body aches and pains.
Warnings and Precautions
Do not take with any other paracetamol containing product. Take only when necessary. Prolonged use except under medical supervision can be harmful. Do not exceed the stated dose. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well. Contains 2.19g of sucrose per sachet. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus.
Pregnancy
If clinically needed, Paracetamol can be used during pregnancy if clinically needed however it should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time and at the lowest possible frequency
Breast Feeding
Paracetamol is excreted in breast milk, but not in a clinically significant amount. Product use is compatible with breast-feeding
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or to any of the excipients used in this product.
Always read the packaging and enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
For oral administration only. Dilute the contents of one sachet in a mug of hot water, do not boil the water. Stir until dissolved. If preferred, sweeten to taste with sugar, honey or usual sweetener.
Adults, the elderly and children aged 16 years and over: The usual dose is 1 sachet up to 4 times daily. The dose may be repeated every 4 -6 hours with a maximum of four doses in a 24 hour period.
This product contains parecetamol, do not take with any other paracetamol containing products.
Do not give to children under 16 years of age. For children under 16 years, other formulations and dosage strengths are available which may be more appropriate.
