FAQs

Is Coro for me or not?

Coro is a revolutionary solution, designed to provide additional information on breastfeeding when it is needed.

Coro is not for every breastfeeding woman. Monitoring weight gain, wet nappies and signs of being full reliably indicates how much milk a baby is getting for most people. However, if you feel you need more insight into your feed volumes, your milk supply or your baby’s overall milk consumption then Coro is for you.

Will Coro fit me?

Coro is available in medium size. Please use our sizing guide to determine if Coro will fit you. Small and Large sized Coros will be available to buy soon. 

Will my baby accept Coro?

Our experience shows that Coro, similar to standard nipple shields, is generally accepted by babies. However, this may not be the case for everyone. The limited research on nipple shields shows they can support breastfeeding but are not appropriate for everyone (read more on this here ).

If your breastfeeding is well established and/or if your baby refuses soothers and bottles, then your baby might refuse to feed with Coro. We recommend practising with standard nipple shields before buying Coro if this is a concern of yours.

Coroflo Founders Story

When Coroflo’s co-founder Helen was pregnant, she knew she wanted to give breastfeeding a go. When her son was born he was tiny so weight gain was very important. The only way to check was week to week weigh in and pre- and post- feed weight checks. Waiting for results was extremely stressful for her and many mothers and it was immediately clear that the weigh-ins varied wildly with little accuracy.

Her husband Jamie, our other co-founder and Helen began searching the market but no product existed to tell me how much breastmilk her son was getting as she wanted immediate and accurate information!

Jamie coincidentally had worked on flow monitoring in another sector; he had an idea of a groundbreaking technology that could be the answer. Our CEO Rosanne, over many late dinners, listened to us and noticed many other friends with similar issues, we had a vision, saw an opportunity and an idea was born… Coro!

Returns:

To qualify for a refund where you cancel within the cooling‑off period or otherwise return items due to change of mind:

Products must be unused, in as‑new condition, and returned with all original packaging, accessories, manuals and any free gifts supplied with your order. For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened or used, unless they are being returned due to a fault (see Section 4). We reserve the right to inspect returned goods and to refuse a refund or make a partial refund where products show signs of use, damage, or missing components beyond what is necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning. Faulty or defective products If you believe your Coroflo product is faulty or defective, please contact us as soon as possible after discovering the issue, providing your order details and a clear description of the fault. We may ask you for supporting information (for example, photos, video, or usage details) to help us assess the issue. Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, you will be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights under Irish or UK consumer law. Items damaged through misuse, improper care, normal wear and tear, or not used in accordance with the instructions are not considered faulty.
