Medical grade pads means pulses are spread over the pad allowing a more comfortable workout. Bottom replacement pads known as hydrogel electrodes, are comprised of a three layer conductive medium to deliver the electrical current. The gel pads use medical grade gel and their adhesive properties expire after some time due to exposure to air. To make your session effective and comfortable, replace the pads after 20-30 uses.
